Description
The Donkey Weenus (DW) is designed to assist garage door professionals in replacing the most common bottom rubbers in the industry. The DW will work on doors up to 2 1/2″ thick and accommodate up to 5 1/2″ bottom rubbers. The tool will also work on either the left or right side of the door exactly the same way to make replacing the bottom rubber easier when obstacles may be present.
The DW works best on balanced garage doors. This tool is an All-In-One option for removing the bottom roller and replacing the bottom rubber.
** NOTE – THE DW IS NOT TO BE USED AS A PRY BAR. If the bottom roller does not come out of the track easily, you may need to use your regular chosen tool option to remove it.
The DW fits into the roller guide of the bottom fixture securely. From there you just insert your bottom rubber as you normally would sliding the rubber into the retainer.
The DW will accommodate up to 5 1/2″ rubber. Some of the bottom rubber options that are available may be more rigid or stiffer than others, so not all rubber will slide as easy as the softer rubber options available.
